Education is a tremendous tool for empowerment, and my greatest desire is to provide aid and support to the scholastic endeavors of students in pursuit of their God-given dreams and the fulfillment of their Kingdom assignment in the earth.

Purpose
The Dr. A.D. Stewart Jr. Achieve the Dream Scholarship is a textbook scholarship made available to covenant member(s) of ALARM’s Eagle Connection who are graduating high school seniors planning to attend a college or university; or a first-year freshman currently enrolled at a college or university at the time of application who meets the eligibility criteria. The purpose of this scholarship is to help recipients in their educational endeavors as they pursue the achievement of their lifelong dream.
Scholarship Parameters
The Dr. A.D. Stewart Jr. Achieve the Dream Scholarship provides merit and need-based awards to students seeking financial assistance to complete their education. The scholarship review committee awards the scholarship annually in the fall semester to recipients who have completed the selection process and deemed the winning recipient. Notification of the selected recipients will be made in the month of July.
There will be two $1,500 scholarships awarded for the academic year 2024-2025 for the purchase of textbooks. The funds for the award will be made directly to the textbook vendor. A completed application must be submitted with all required documents by May 15, 2024.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following general expectations:

Be a faithful member of the ALARM’s Eagle Connection for at least six consecutive months by the application submission date.

Be a faithful tither (this applies if the applicant is employed).
High School Senior

Applicant must be a graduating senior in high school.

Applicant must have a cumulative 3.0 unweighted grade point average.

Completed and submitted an application for admission to a college or university.

Two letters of recommendation from non-family members.

Letter from the applicant’s pastor that confirms the applicant’s faithfulness to membership and tithing.

Admission letter from college/university or documentation of successful application submittal.
First-time, First Year Freshman

First-time, first-year college freshmen at a college or university.
